With plenty to go around, a full leg of delicious Irish lamb is an ideal joint for a larger family meal or a dinner party.
The leftovers (if there are any!) make lovely sandwiches the next day or a great salad meat.

Cooking Instructions

 

Leave the product for 20 minutes at room temperature in its bag prior to roasting. Remove all packaging and place bone side down, with all fat and liquid onto a baking tray. Cook in a preheated oven at 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 5 for:

2.16kg
From defrosted: 65-70 minutes
From frozen:
 85-90 minutes

2.49kg
From defrosted: 75-80 minutes
From frozen: 90-95 minutes

Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Ensure the product is piping hot throughout. Do not reheat once cooked.

Please Note: Once cooked, the pan juices will be concentrated and highly flavoured. To use as a gravy, dilute to taste with water, light stock or wine.
